Studies show that approximately 40-50% of adults are taking multiple drugs and have multiple chronic illnesses. Managing these types of patients and the prevention of medical emergencies is more important than ever. This course is targeted towards dental health providers who endeavor to provide safe and comfortable dental experiences for patients who have chronic and/or uncontrolled illnesses such as cardiac disease and diabetes.
